Does the famous New York dollar slice still exist? We travel across New York City and visit all five boroughs, searching for a $1 slice in NYC.

Which borough does the best pizza in New York? What makes a great pizza?

We started in Manhattan and tried slices from Joe’s Pizza, Bens Pizza, Bleeker Street Pizza and Artichoke.

We then tried the best pizza slices in Brooklyn. Does Brooklyn have the best pizza in New York?

We visited Queens and tried the best pizza slice from Sunnyside Pizza.

We took the free Staten Island ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and then tried pizza in Staten Island. The pizza in Staten Island wasn’t good.

I’m glad they’ve modified this video so now it actually makes sense. In an earlier version of this they were walking into random pizza places and asking if they sold a slice for a dollar, which is like walking into a pub in London and asking if they still do a pint for 2 quid. Now the video is focused on places that specifically advertise being a dollar slice and are no longer a dollar, the video makes sense.

There used to be a place near by to where I lived that did $1 slices say 5 years ago, it's now $3.50 for the same slice and I think they're even smaller than before

Dollar Slice Pizza is at Mosholu Parkway and Jerome Avenue in the Bronx, you can take the 4 Train uptown to the Mosholu Avenue station and it should be right at the corner of the station. it’s actually a good slice to fill you up after school

i remember last year being in NY, it was rainy and i was really tired. we went for some slices on the 2 bros store and they were like 2.50. it’s not really a problem but props to their pizza, it’s delicious

Considering they probably make a profit of 30 cents off their slices now, it’s probably fair they raise the prices just a smidge

My local shop does 2/2.75. So technically one slice for $1.37. The slices are also pretty large in size, and almost always right out of the oven.

At lidl they sell the pizza slices for less than 80 cents(but yeah we live in europe)

I moved a few months ago but when I was still living in NYC, there was a $1 slice pizza place on 55th and Broadway beside Applejack Diner. Hope it's still the same price
