For admission into NITs, IIITs & GFTIs the marks scored in the following five subjects will be considered for calculating the aggregate marks
1) Physics
2) Any one of Tecnical vocation subject.
3) Mathematics
4) A language (if the candidate has taken more than one language then the language with the higher marks will be considered
5) Any subject other than the above four (the subject with the highest marks will be considered).


That means if a student have PCMB and in case his/her chemistry marks are low but biology marks are good then biology marks will be the considered factor to calculate overall 75% ?

And for admission into IITs then the subject combination mentioned
