The White House has suspended the press pass of CNN reporter Jim Acosta. At a press conference a day after the US midterm vote --
a visibly angry Trump had called Acosta a "rude, terrible person," after the CNN White House correspondent refused the president's orders to sit down and give up the microphone as he was asking questions about comments Trump had made about immigrants.
An intern attempted to take the microphone from Acosta's hands but he resisted. President Trump's press secretary has now accused him of placing his hands on a female member of staff and of unacceptable conduct.
Acosta says hat's a lie and claims that his White House press pass was removed simply because he was asking challenging questions of the President.
