Hi! Im currently an Econ undergrad and I also want to venture to the Data Analytics field. I'm just wondering if you use econometrics in your work as a data analyst.

The one caveat I would add is one wants to work with really sharp people whether sharp in data science or sharp in the domain. You can learn a lot from sharp people; on the other hand working with people who never had the drive to master what they are doing can be soul draining and hurt your career. For instance, you worked for a healthcare startup (with some healthcare professionals?) who were being advised by your professor; it wasn't just a bunch of people with no clue who decided to do a "startup".
