Barnaby Smith's releases his second studio album on 24 February 2023. The album, 'BACH', reflects the annual cycle of the church year. Featuring two iconic solo cantatas, Ich habe genug, BWV 82 and Vergnügte Ruh, BWV 170, the recital is interwoven with arias from Bach’s great oratorios.

The album also sees the return of the Illyria Consort and features a duet with fellow @VOCES8 alto, Katie Jeffries-Harris.

'BACH' will be released on VOCES8 Records on 24 February and is available to pre-order NOW!

Beautiful performances, though I’m not sure why there are keyboards in the ensemble when one can’t hear them! Maybe just keep the strings and woodwind?
