Former US President Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt in Florida on Sunday, according to the FBI, but emerged unharmed. The suspect, hiding in nearby shrubbery, fled in a black vehicle but was later tracked down with the help of a witness. Local authorities confirmed that a suspect is currently in custody. Trump, who was golfing at the time of the incident, was one hole away from where the shooter was found. His campaign reassured the public that he was safe. This incident follows a similar assassination attempt just two months ago in Pennsylvania, where Trump was wounded in the ear while addressing a rally.
