Did you know that the average human is known to host more than a million parasites? That if you don't have at least one kind of worm residing in your gut, you're in the minority? And speaking of worms, the largest tapeworm ever recorded was more than 60 feet long! (Yuck!)

Learn about these and other interesting facts in EWW! What's Eating You?, a new exhibition at Science North. Just in time for Family Day and the March Break, EWW! What's Eating You? digs into the history of human/parasite interaction. This exhibition takes you from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt to more modern times and tales of often sinister critters that live to hitch a ride on human hosts.

The exhibition is set in an arcade-like atmosphere where learning about parasites can actually be fun! See if you could jump 200-times your height to put you in the same league as a flea! Discover the different kinds of parasites and how their life cycles work with ours.
