I’ve had these for almost 3 years and they have never failed me apart from the slight connection issues where i have to unplug the usb transmitter and plug it back in or reset my console these have never broken on me and i most definitely recommend them!

The Arctis 7X works great across my PC, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. The combination of top notch sound quality, construction, comfort, and universal gaming console compatibility puts it in a league of its own. I personally wasn't a fan of the earpads, so it's definitely worth the easy upgrade to a nice PU/Velour hybrid earpad for like $15 from Amazon. For gaming purposes the 7X is just about perfect in every department, minus the dated micro USB charging port.

The P and X in any headset is to differentiate between PlayStation and Xbox respectively. The P and X versions of these are literally no different from each other, except for console specific compatibility. Good video however, thank you!

Hi! I have a few quistions about the Arctic series.
I currently have had the Arctis 3 for a couple of years and they were ansolutely amazing, but I really want to buy them again. They are discontinued ofcourse so I am looking for a new headset.

The one thing I absolutely hate is that everything is now an active, wireless headset, while I am looking for one I can use passive, with a 3, 5mm jack in my xbox one controller and still have surround sound. I am very confused because it is a real pain finding out if that is possible with the new models, so can you still use the 7x, 7x+ or 9x without battery and wired like the arctic 3?
I really hope I can get one before black friday, just can't figure it out!

I have never had a more difficult to set up headset. When you plug in the 4 pole to 3.5mm it shuts off your headset. When you plug in the USB dongle, your headset will not be paired and will not function. When you go through SteelSeries support no videos will show you Arctis 7x specific content. I would avoid these headphones at all cost and try to get a refund if you already purchased them.
