That’s a beautiful color. Goes from black, to blue to almost a hint of green. But I have to admit that my favorite part of these is the interior clean up. Love seeing the cockpit come to life.

Movies this Camaro has been in : Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), Pulp Fiction (short scene, a crash). Transformers also had that old 1977 Camaro.

This gen Camaro has a soft spot in my heart. I used to walk to Ford Jr High, in Brook Park in 1979 with my best friend. A Camaro like this, in maroon paint would pass by and she would wave at us. Never knew who she was. But the car is very memorable. Thanks for bringing Cleveland back to respect.❤

I have owned 20 new vehicles in my lifetime. Two Corvettes, a factory Starsky & Hutch Torino, but my favorite was a 1980 Z-28 Camaro. Lots of power and in the Midnight blue it was a head turner. Single with a good job. Ah yes, Being young with a new Camaro, life was good!

Your polishing of the Camaro was super. Love that blue color.

My first car was a 1981 Camaro Berlinetta. I rocked that 90+ HP through high school until I ran it into a ditch. It was a great car that I absolutely loved.

Out of years of being a truck and as of later years a car mechanic I would strongly suggest you try nut Buster also sold in some areas as lefty loosey. It will blow your mind how fast and how well it works. I know WD-40 seems to be the go too but trust me, once you try nut Buster you’ll never look back.
Note: it’s made/sold by Wynn’s here in Canada but also available in the States

The 2nd gen model, 70 1/2 year was my favorite Camaro. That split front bumper looks so good.

I love all Camaros, but my absolute favorite is the facelifted 4th Gen (99-02). The lines got smoothed out, but they still kept that muscle car look.

So cool. Yes, I drove a ‘77 Camaro in HS/College (80-88); then gave it back to my dad since he’s the one who kept it going; he restored it, then gave/sold to my nephew when he was 15. He is now 35 & still has it (in storage).

Definitely Gen 2 is my favorite! Me and my Dad are restoring a 79 right now.

omg it must have been a shock to see it on your neighbour garage lol, i prefer the 3rd gen but i really, really love the front bumper on this one. it looks so aggressive, it's just perfect to look at it. amazing job as always and i don't know if i'm going to be correct but if you have a badge (or cheap jewerly) with just copper, with mold mixed with oxigen will create a green "stuff" on top (i know this since i put a cheap pendant in the shower and after leaving it outside it still have that same stuff on top). it was cute of you to gift the camaro, and good job to the owner for at least know how to storage a car.
