Pagasa: Southwest monsoon's effects on PH to wane if typhoon off PAR dissipates

The effects of the southwest monsoon – such as rain and thunderstorms – over parts of the Philippines, especially in Luzon, will only weaken if the typhoon outside the Philippine area of responsibility dissipates, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration says on Friday, August 4, 2023.
