How to get from Sofia Airport to the City by Train

In this video I will show you how to get from Sofia Airport (SOF) to the City Centre.

This 7 day a week service runs from approximately 5.30am to 11.30pm and travels the 18 mins from the Airport to the Central Station, for 1.6 Bulgarian Lev (£0.68, €0.82, $0.86).

Just to double check. You can tap in and tap out with a card? You don't necessarily have to buy a ticket? Would it be safer to buy a ticket from the machine?

This isn't the central station you kinda miss informed it's the Sofia University St Kliment Ohrodski one (yeah it's still in the end of the center but you could've just said about that) and if you want to get to the inner city center you should get off at Serdika which is the next station after that and if you want to go to the central railway station you need to transfer to line two (Blue line), and go from Serdika II- Lavov most- And then you arrive at Centralna gara (Central railway station)

Hi! I'm from Bulgaria but never used the metro from the airport to the central train station. I read somewhere that you need to change lines at Serdika metro station. Did you do that - I didn't see it in the video?
