1969 Oldsmobile 442 W30

They were ALL beautiful. Never did I think both Oldsmobile and Pontiac would be history. They made some of the classiest cars Detroit rolled out.

I had a burgandy mist 69 w-30 (400cuin) 4spd muncie m-22 cr w 4.33 posi rear bought new on my order in fall of 68. A major sleeper, the night before i put 3.42's in it because of all the highway miles, I dumped a hemi-cuda with it. NOBODY knew what a W-30 was. i actually traded in a 67 442 w cr 4 spd and 3.90's which i had ordered fall of '66 6 months out of eng school. Both were pretty much stock with some ignition tweaks and quadrajet work I had figured out. Brings back memories as I approach 80 this summer.

I owned at least 25 cutlasses when I was younger and I loved all of them they were very powerful machines and had a great body style 💪😎

Had a 67 442 in high school loved that car it was nothing but power and performance these modern dayers today don't know about raw power miss the old day muscle cars they were real not like the junk they make today

Oldsmobile had its own unique idle tone. And its high end power band. All its power came in at 3000rpm and kept pulling hard.❤❤

One bad ass looking 442 my friend . You don't see to many of those Olds out there in that color, but that's OK, better to stand out in the crowd. I like it 👌.
