The best part of the game was in the first 5 minutes when the world goes all Inception. I want Ubisoft to do more of that.

As a person who never played the crew 1, coming into this world in the beta felt unreal. The massive map was mind blowing and the first thing I wanted to do is drive to where I live. After driving across the whole map, I started to realize how empty it was. The only enjoyable part in this game was driving all the modded to hell cars and feeling like I was in the Fast and the Furious.

It's too much fluff to be hip with impressionable kids. All that "be the best racer", some hip announcers, all that social crap, it's all nonsense. Why cant they make a game for drivers, for the trip, having crosscountry road trips with your friends or solo, tackling challenges and secrets along the way? Or have cross country rallies with classic cars? Where is a racing game about the cars?

They delayed the game to remove lootboxes, but didn't finish the game first before releasing it. Hard Pass for me.

I'm just going to throw this out there...I love this game...plain and simple. Whilst many comments I have read here do raise valid points...I personally am happy to overlook some of the 'not so great' parts because I can find fun here - and with pals in your crew - and randoms too...the fun can be created.

Granted...it's not the most amazing game this year but I thoroughly enjoyed the first game, even more so with the numerous updates and expansions. With this in mind - i am indeed most likely biased but still...there's an awful lot of fun to be had.

That said...having seen the FH4 demo from E3...damn that sh** looks good! Might have to dust off the Xbox for that.

In the meantime however...thank you Karak, thank you for your video and continued work. On this occasion, my opinion differs and that's okay...it's the world we live in :)

After trying the Beta I decided against getting The Crew 2, like you say in the video there are some glaring issues such as pop-in, rubberbanding, lack of multiplayer and general lack of content. I also cannot get around the handling model, it just doesn't feel intuitive no matter how much I tweaked it. Maybe it will improve over time like the first game did, but until then I'll stay away.

It really does look empty and the roads seem like they're made of plastic. They look way too smooth and textureless. The whole world gives off this vibe of being fake and straight out of a game, instead of a real place. Also the lack of content is really disappointing.

I knew this would happen with the inclusion of boats and planes. There’s no refined direction, every discipline is half assed. No one asked for air and sea vehicles. Properly pissed because TC1 was pretty cool in the end. I guess TC2 is gonna be good in a year too :/

The best part about this game and it's saving grace is the motorcycles. They should update the motorcycle list to include a lot more types. If there weren't any motorcycles in this game I wouldn't of bought it. The motorcycles are the only thing I spend my in-game currency on. Anything else is sort of a waste.

Forza is obviously a win, no contest. However, this game does have a few cool things going for it, which is what I like about it. People talk about end game which is a bit absurd because isn't racing and hooking up cars an everyday and anyday thing? I never heard a racer in real life who says their is no end game in racing. People simply ask for too much and expect way too much.

Before even watching or reading comments I paid for my pre order after the closed beta. I'm happy just doin road trips on this. Great game
