if there are 400 members and out of that only 300 are present during the voting by the procedure simple majority then the members present at that instance only counted that is more than half 300/2 +1

6 types of majorities used in polity and governance
trick to remember: "SASER"

Simple Majority: More than half of the members present and voting. Used for most legislation.
Absolute Majority: More than half of the total membership of the house. It's less commonly required.
Effective Majority: More than half of the effective strength of the house, excluding vacancies.
Special Majority: There are different types, but it generally requires a higher threshold, like two-thirds of members present and voting, plus other conditions. Used for constitutional amendments.
Effective and Simple Majority: A combination where a simple majority of the members present and voting is needed, along with more than half of the effective strength.
Relative Majority: The highest number of votes received by a candidate or option, but not necessarily a majority. It's used when there's no requirement for an absolute or simple majority.
