Minecraft songs are the most nostalgic things in the world

I must say, C418 definitely captured the whole "infinite possibilities" tone that Minecraft had back then, and still has now.

I’ll never forget the feeling that rushed through my body when I heard this for the first time.

Sad that you only get moments like that once.

I remember going to opening my minecraft screen one day and hearing this music. I was in awe because of how beautiful it sounded and sat there dazed. after that, I continued to play and made the most wonderful friends on a server, some of which are still my friends today. I have a big nostalgic attraction to this song. everytime I hear it, Im still dazed like I was before. One of the things about minecraft I love the most.

POV: It's 2014 and You're 8 years old, you just got minecraft for christmas, you open your Xbox 360 and just booted up the game just to hear this song giving you a warm welcome with chills.
Now you're 18 years old, it's 2024 and you still manage to get goosebumps everytime you hear this endless masterpiece.

“Sir, you have 2 minutes to live.”
“…Play Moog City 2”
“But sir, that’s 3 minutes long.”

Death: “Nah, I’ll wait.”

Something about Moog City just *oozes* nostalgia. It's the song you first hear when you open Minecraft, and it sticks with you.

This played when I first opened the game back in 2013. It was like a whole new world opened up for me.

i used to have this gaming pc with a GTX 580 and Pentium 4 and i used to spend literal hours playing on that pc every day. my friends and i had this world called “the boys” and we would all get on it and play for ages. recently, i found it in an attic. dusting it off, i was able to boot it up and get my wifi running. i explored the world and my god, i’ve never cried so much from a simple game. Seeing all of the structures we built and how much fun we had really made me realize to never be ungrateful and always cherish time. But, the thing that made me cry the most, is that they haven’t been on in 7 years. Love you jonah and alex.

At 1:42 I love how you can actually hear the pedal on the piano being pressed, it all feels incredibly real.

The beginning is still my favorite part. It sounds whimsical.

It really makes me cry EVERYTIME i listen to this. This what sounds in my head when i see the word "minecraft". It gives me memories of happy innocent childhood, of minecraft Lets Players who's channels is no longer exists (atleast i can watch re-uploads and remember these times) and really weird feeling in my stomach. Idk how to describe it but yeah. C418 didn't knew people would feel nostalgic and sad about music for a kids game :[
