The Witton weavers walks #2 The Reelers Trail

This 7.5 mile circular route begins and ends upon the Leeds and Liverpool canal at Cherry Tree near Blackburn. This trail leads you through some very historic areas in the area and in particular the old churches and chapels. Perhaps the best example is St Stephens church at Tockholes with many interesting headstones and artifacts from the first church on the site at AD684.
Its an easy walk with just a few steep gradients to encounter along the way.
