Huge problem with pharmacy in the USA is reimbursement. Insurance reimbursement for prescription meds is way down. In fact pharmacies lose money on every single glp-1 drug they dispense. Why invest in a business that has no control over margins? It's why Walgreens is getting destroyed.

Why do we need to go to a Pharmacy to pick up a prescription? Would anyone complain about them being shipped directly? It's happening now already. When it accelerates, their main business model is completely disrupted: selling random things to people going to the pharmacy.

I worked at CVS and Rite Aid before. It is not mismanagement for your information. I think the number 1 reason in my opinion is all the stealing that is going on with these professional thieves, homeless persons, and kids has been freely doing for the past 10 yrs. Why cant we create a new law with strict rules in regards to stealing. And if a employee try to chase and retrieve the item from a thief outside the store, that employee will get fired. If you go outside the US like middle east, asia, or south america and try to steal, you will face a very big consequence. If you want me to invest in a retail stock, only amazon and alibaba for me.
