When Herding Cattle Goes Wrong! Crazy Cows Get Loose!

Today we are going to be putting on a mini cattle drive to our pasture located on the far side of our farm. We are moving a mix of dairy cows and heifers. Things get interesting once we reach the top of the hill. Thank you all for watching. We hope you enjoy the video!

My Uncle a Aunt had a Border Collie, Sue she knew how to sort cows When I got my first dairy job out of college the wife am I had a Collie who was 6 years old took to herding the cows in an out of the pastures.Bred into them.😊

Ahh the joys of herding cattle!!! Seems like some are real even tempered, others will spook and break into a run. Sometimes we could have a 20 ft gate wide open and some would bolt at the last second. Wonder if they don't have ESP if you're doing something out of the ordinary. LOL

I’ve been watching quite a few YouTube farmers the last few years, and on video it’s very hard to judge the slope of land… Not on your videos haha! If it looks steep on camera it’s probably twice as steep! Beautiful country you live in! I really enjoy your videos, you are great people!

Boy, I remember. Chasing cows when they got out of the pasture. Good Times! NOT!!! I would like to send Owen a new sweatshirt, that was not green and gold! Maybe blue and orange! Pretty sure he would burn it or throw it in the manure spreader as I would do to the green and gold sweatshirts! I enjoy your videos keep up the great content!
