Born to be kings but defeated by time
Black Country dreams they were leased for a while
But the way to glory and love is through pain
Chasing a world on the ladders made of golden tomes

Until the end the lights will shine
After it ends the songs survive

Hope is burned into the shadows of our veins
Though the road winds far over the earth
Into the sun until we burn

Landslide of demons one poisoned ego burning bright
The change of the seasons lightning releases new fire
But the way to glory and love is through pain
Chasing a world on the ladders made of golden tomes

Until the end the lights will shine
After it ends the songs survive

Hope is burned into the shadows of our veins
Though the road winds far over the earth
Into the sun until we burn

Until the end the lights will shine
After it ends the songs survive

Hope is burned into the shadows of our veins
Though the road winds far over the earth
Into the sun until we burn

Engraved in the songs and the words
Forevermore until we burn

Cornell vibes, yeah!
I listened to most of the album and this is the only one that sounded like that to me, so, not a bad thing I guess.

Sounds a bit too much like Soundgarden song (mostly in the vocals). They (SG) are absolutely one of my favorite bands, and Rasmus is no question amazing, but I would hope that musically it would elevate the song higher.

listened to a few tracks now, Its good. Unfortunately it will be likened to Cornell, vocally. I feel that will overshadow the rest of the album.
