If you are an Apple person, how does this compare with using a spare iPad? I assume it requires power and does not integrate with Apple Photos. Apple iPad (10th Generation) 10.9-inch is less than $300. No monthly subscription (assume not)?

Sorry, im new and never own a digital frame yet. With these price, the Samsung tablet a9 is much cheaper. Should I just buy tablet to display photos? That just came to my mind. Is using tablet as digital frame a bad idea? Maybe it will overheat and heavy?

- matted to the point of no contrast
- 100% sRGB meaning 100% of the smallest possible color space (it's enough but cameras usually shoot in a MUCH larger color space, even phones nowadays)
- small resolution
- a laughable price point...

It's better than many competitors, but that is sadly not saying much.

For some reason those photo frames are all still kite garbage.

Thank you for telling me about this. I wanted a digital frame a few years ago but the options were terrible. The one that fit the size was the Netgear one but the resolution was low, I tried another and the software was awful.
