I left my shyness behind & came up to tourists. I had a few conversations. All of them were very short conversations except this 2 hour conversation with a Hungarian women. I even had a short tour guiding her. She's really kind-hearted. She got my phone number & told me she'd call me in a future time. So If I get a phone call from her maybe I would be able have a great connection & practice my English with her. I tried to speak with both men & women, It seems like some of them judge me. I came up to a male tourist, he did this hand gesture which shows go away. Maybe he must've been thought that I was going to ask for money. When I try to have a conversation with a female tourist the typical answer is "I have a boyfriend". Actually I'm going to do a job in which I have to speak to foreigners, that's why I need to practice my speaking. I even said this to them but they don't like to have long conversations. Some of them stop these short conversations with these nice greetings, but there're some tourists they don't give this nice ending to the conversation, they walk away just saying nothing. I know that maybe they were in a hurry because it's a tour, but some tourists really judge some locals, I even tried to speak with a couple, they walk away laughing. It's really hard to find good people out of them.

Quando você vai adquirindo vocabulário, traduzir atrapalha. Isso demora.
