Its like lee and Lee could win, but was outsupplied by grant.... grant would just hold the field and attack again, lee couldnt. Rommel wasnt outfought, he was undersupplied. Patton had all the military industrial might of the usa behind him....

What you just described is exactly what Patton did to Rommel at El Guettar. With his tank destroyers and artillery placed on a ridge overlooking the Germans route of advance he obliterated Rommel's armored spearhead by attacking its flank.

Rommel was a great commander but against Patton? I would put money on Patton

I don't think that Patton faced Rommel during the Battle of the Bulge. I think Rommel was implicated in the overthrow of Hitler and was dead.
Maybe I'm wrong...but I don't think so.

I rather have Rommel instead Patton the Blood and Guts but G.I. soldiers say thats Patton's Gut and our Bloods I think G.I. was right about Patton
