I have tried this, I’ve tried using DDU, I’ve upped my system recourse memory, I’ve tried every trick and method I’ve found online and some of them twice! Nothing is working! It mainly effects Shadow of the TombRaider!! I’m at a loss!! I love that game! It all happened after upgrading from a 2060 to a 3060 both Gigabyte RTX. Only thing I can think of is there are still driver files left over from the 2060? But DDU should’ve gotten them all. I’ve even altered my windows defender settings. If I can’t get this figured out I’m putting my 2060 back in and see if the issue goes away. If so the 3060 is going back.

Thank you so much for this fix. I have this problem on Shadow of the Tomb Raider when DX12 is used instead of DX11. My benchmark on DX11 is 9, 800++ points with minimum FPS at 39 but when this fixed my DX12 crash and used DX12, I get 11, 000++ points and buttery smooth FPS at 75 with no drop in frames since my monitor can get to 75hz only. Again, thank you for this fix. On my other games, there are no problems, only on this particular game.

yeah its great fix too bad it make a new problem where if a problem with a game that made the game freeze or lag .... windows wont use the Tdr and wont rest the driver ... so ur whole system will freeze and u will have to restart the pc ...

I never comment on videos, but I have had an issue where my games would crash and say d3d device lost. As battlefield 2042 cams out it was happening every other match. After trying this I’ve played two multiple hour sessions no problem. Thank you very much I’ve had this issue right out of the box and after over a year. I tried this. If you are having issues on AMD highly suggest trying this as it was the miracle my 5600xt needed. You sir are the man.

2019 and this error keeps popping on my game.
I already tried TdrLevel and TdrDelay but nothing seems to work (graphic drivers always up to date).

Thought it worked until it happened again! Ugh...honestly I think it's the games I'm playing (Ghost Warrior Contracts and Contracts 2) that are full of bugs as they're the ONLY games that cause the DXGI errors (at least for me).

If you are on a 64bit system should you still select 32bit when creating the registry? The DWORD thing? Or should I select QWORD 64 bit?
