Apple is busy preparing for the fall launch of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, but in this video, I want to talk iPhone 13 mini. If you believe the leaks, the iPhone 12 mini was a big flop for Apple but is Apple going to change course with the iPhone 13 mini or will it be more of the same? Let's break it down!

Love my 12 Mini and have no desire for a "large phone" Considering I upgraded to it from a 5 year old 7 that i handed down to my daughter, I should have this Mini for at least as long!

12 mini guy here. Coming from the 8. The mini is smaller (what I love) but with a bigger screen. A WAY better screen. Battery is no issue, far better then the 8 and in dark mode (thank you OLED) it goes on forever. A true flagship phone (identical to the 12) brilliant camera. I was hoping for a full screen 5" version of the original SE form factor but this is close enough. Only reason to get the 13mini would be a touch ID sensor, if its not on, this will do until the end of the support somewhere around 2025 and by then I doubt there are phones as we know them today around.

Coming from an iphone 6S, i would choose the mini, but i don’t need to buy one yet because my 6S still works fine! If i cared about having the latest phone, i would have upgraded before now and got used to the bigger size. When the 13 mini is released, I will need a new phone and hopefully the 13 Mini will have slightly better battery life and a smaller notch.

I had the 12 mini for 4 months now and it’s the best phone I ever had. Also my first iPhone ever and I’m not going back to android anytime soon. Why I the the mini numbers are down is because it was a staged launch with the mini coming out last if they came out all the same time or if mini was released first I think it would have sold better.

Price is the problem. Where i live, the iPhone 12 is always on offer for at lower price than the Mini. Makes the mini seem like a very bad deal.

I've had the Mini from day one and I love it. I'm not a heavy user so I get all day use. Has never been below 50%. I think the biggest reason it's not selling is with all the people working from home they don't need a small phone for commuting. Working from home they can have a bigger phone sitting on their desk. I always liked to use a smaller phone on the bus or train. Much more convenient. My wife is still using an original SE and won't upgrade.

I have the 12 Mini and luv it, but I agree for most people it makes more since to pay 100 more to get the regular size 12 or the much cheaper but still good SE. The 12 Mini is simply caught between a rock and a hard place

I have a 7+ which still works great. If I was going to get an iPhone 12 mini, I’d get an SE for $400 and keep my home button and Touch ID.

I think the minis’ are perfect for people who want a good cell phone that is not the size of a tablet. I wish they would make a Mini or SE Pro. I really like having the smaller phones that actually fit in my hand that I can use with one hand. I don’t understand the concept of every phone is the size of the first tablets that came out. I am getting the 13 mini and giving my mom the 12 mini I currently have. The price isn’t an issue for me. I have been paying a good price for a good phone for years. I prefer the smaller phones.

It's fucking obvious that 2023 SE gonna be 12 mini tech. Don't worry, 5.4 notch / 4.7 regular size phones are here to stay. SE sized/priced iPhones just sell too well to be abandoned.

I’m using 12 mini for over 2 months and so happy to have a small smartphone. Today I return for couple of minutes to Android 6.4” screen and I realize why I want to quit from this concept. If 13 will be in mini version I’ll buy it for sure and if Apple kill this small form factory project I’ll have up to 5 years to updates.
