Etrian Odyssey 3 HD: Leviathan RNG Exploit

Like with the others in this version of the game, you need to start from a fresh boot in order for this to work. You also must be on Basic or Expert. This will not work on Picnic.

Leviathan is another popular target for an exploit. Not because it's good exp, far from it. It's because it holds the Lucky Hammer Limit skill, which if you kill an enemy with it, you get all of their drops guaranteed, and bypasses needing to qualify for their conditional. Leviathan is meant to be killed during the post-game, but this exploit lets you grab this wonderful Limit skill when you reach the 5th Stratum. As such I didn't really bother coming up with a Picnic version of this, since everything should work fine on Basic and Expert as long as you don't screw up the steps. And if you want exp, Picnicing King Penguin is far better for that and money anyways.

You'll need a Wilding for this, who must also be slow enough to not disrupt the turn order. Also make sure they don't know Royal Veil.

From there, pick sea quest 3, then put your Wildling wherever. Position doesn't matter. On turn 1 defend, then use Call Tiger on the next turn. Done, enjoy the early Lucky Hammer.
