I know it's been a while since ya worked on this, but great job with the texture alignment! A few months ago I was working on a raycast engine in C and it took me a while to figure out the maths needed to fix the weird fish-eye lens-ish effect. Lodev is definitely a real one for putting all those articles together, they're incredibly insightful.
