Hi, make sure you buy an aftermarket barrel for that kit. Do not try to work with that kit barrel, you will lose a bunch of detail. I have 3 after market barrels for all my M1's including the kit you just showed. I have the original kit from when it first came out.
The kit is real nice and goes together well, it looks like a lot of work but really it's not that bad. Dragon has the best detail, Trumpeter's detail is hit and miss with some kits. Are you going to shoot a video of you building it?

I have an old version of this Dragon kit. It doesn't have the options in yours but the basic design is the same. I have no intention of doing any of the optional stuff as it's my first proper 1/35 scale kit. I got mine dirt cheap at a yard sale.

That looks like a realy decent kit, maybe not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal and the quaity seems to stand out. Looking forward to seeing the build.

Don't know, right now I am taking some time to figure out the what and how of my next build tutorial videos. So at this point I can not say if I will or will not.

the poorest kits are cyberhobby oronge box working to correct one now with parts from tamyia as the tamyia has no antilip surface.
