as someone who doesn’t play mm2 much, just watches creators, i thought these ‘shops’ were working WITH nikilis to sell items. i realised just recently that they are against roblox TOS. and what baffles me the most is the fact that the creators who i watch advertise it like it’s okay to buy from them and they are a good thing. not just mm2, i also see Adopt Me content creators advertise these shops to buy pets from. i try to trade in mm2 and god my first godly recently. so, it breaks my heart to see that people don’t even work hard to trade, they just buy it off a shady black market site. thanks for the amazing video, colbe. really opened my eyes!

Its crazy to see this all happen, because back in my days lol we didn't trade based off "Value" we traded for the looks of the knife or godly.

Trading was so much more enjoyable when values were stable and you could actually work toward building a solid inventory without constantly worrying about sudden drops. It takes the fun out of it when you have to trade of it 24/7 just to keep up with the values.

Value raise or down is not only depend thats rare or not, it also depend on less circulated or over circulated

i used to trade a lot in mm2 but now i stopped because all the time u need to worry if the item will die soon because of those websites. i hate those websites they ruin mm2.

Heartblade is a pretty weird example... It was worth 6 (roughly) like 1.5 years ago, being mass duped along w/ other items. Out of nowhere it started to get overpays, and rose to 150.

I hate those black market sites they are just making games worst and they are so annoying they ask for your personal info too there is no point in doing it

The issue with the downfall of items are not actually the black market websites but with the major releasing of the weapon, the circulation of that item becomes hugely impacted and its rarity will drop. How it works is that people usually stack them up and then mass release/trade them when they die out. Duped items are the main victims of releasing due to their low rarities

its really bad because imagine you worked so hard getting an item then it drops insanely fast because of the black market it needs to stop

The worst case of all for me is the harvester and icepicier, practically everyone on every exchange server has them and it's bizarre how common they have become.

Finally talking about trading, I think it’s not all about the black market that ruins some items, many stockers trade these godlies in stacks and especially when they are low demand they start to plummet down. Also if u like mm2, then banning content creators would be so stupid as they bring so many players to the game, which is why nik may not take action

all the greedy content creators promoting these blackmarket sites are so annoying. they do it so openly and clearly though, so it wouldnt be difficult for nikilis to give them a warning or ban them for a day because of this. i think this would make content creators realize theyre on thin ice and should stop doing this illegal stuff.

Is it just me or the "goodbyee" at the end was more energetic? (In the good way ofc!) And about the trading, i think that its a waiste of time right now, looking at the values getting lower and effecting the trading system a lot. Im also guessing that weapons like harvester, icepiecer, gingerscope etc. will blow up in fiew months sience its gonna be almost halloween and christmas time.

I was surprised when I checked harvesters and ice piercers value, it was literally around 1000 and now it’s around 500.
