Everyone in this game is bilingual LOL, including the player, since they understood the languages the GV Citizens were speaking. I personally confirmed with Faris, and he said that each alien speaks a different, real language (Russian, German, Japanese, English, of course, Spanish, and Portuguese)

There was also a note in one of the chapters (one of the ones written on a plain white paper instead of the case report notes) and it says that they need to decide on a "lucky candidate" to bring out of the facility, one that preferably speaks multiple languages to make it easier to live day by day. I think it was in chapter 4.
