Best way to cook instant Ramen, 2 packs, pot/pan of not too much water, boil, add noodles, add seasoning, mix around, and pour noodles and broth into bowl. 10/10 Noods

Put the seasoning packet in while you cook the noodles so it absorbs the flavor instead. Just gotta make sure you don’t put a lot of water, just enough for it to boil nicely.

I always cook the ramen with the chicken flavoring at the same time because the noodles soak up the flavor, or you can put the flavor in at the end and let the noodles sit for a minute or two and it has a similar effect

I use to like maruchan chicken flavor cuz I would eat it a lot when i was younger but after trying shin ramen i never turned back.

Nissin is honestly hit or miss, while nissin is the original, maruchan has better tasting noodles imo

For me they are both sooo bland. For variety and depth of flavors (plus meat and other toppings included) I'd recommend Vietnamese/Thai/Japanese instant noodles (choose the ones you can't understand the characters on the package) from your local Asian markets. Korean and Indomie are also pretty popular but I personally don't find them as good.

Maruchan (the soy sauce flavor in particular) is my favorite, hands down. Can eat that any day of the week and not get sick of it.
