Hey guys, it's been almost 3 years since I lost my sister and I thought my life was over. But I started to accept it and try to make her proud every day. Because she would never have wanted me to be sad for the rest of my life. Thats the kind of person she was. I will still miss her forever and never forget her. I thank everyone who encouraged me and told me not to give up. And I didn't. I am back in life and say that now to everyone who might still be reading this. It gets better! Believe me. I did it and you will too! God protect you all.

I remember in 5th grade I made a parody/cover of this song, "Need them most".

Let's see if I can remember the lyrics.

Edit, 7 months later: Wow, you guys really liked this. I updated the lyrics last night in a document, and I might sing them sometime. I don't really know. It's been about 4 years since I first wrote them, and I feel like it might be time to let them out into the world properly.

I figured that I should give some context to the lyrics. I wrote this song in 5th grade, during a time where the classmates I called friends were turning against me and trying to throw me into sensory overload. I was feeling more and more alone. I was all alone and just needed a friend. I was left in the cold and needed some love to make me feel warm again. I never really realized how happy I was and how good it felt to be happy until it was suddenly ripped out of my arms. I only saw how much I could miss my friends when I needed them the most. But they weren't there. Most of them weren't even ever there. I thought it was just normal for friends to come and go like that, but they actively left me. Friends DO come and go, but they don't leave you while laughing at you for crying in the bushes and desperately trying to escape the world you know into something else. The moment you realize that they weren't there for you, you start crying, but they start cheering because "you FINALLY took the hint." You only realize how much you need friends when suddenly, you don't have any.
