Well I've been stuck on YouTube for hours and this finally got me up. I was half a key too big.

I was extremely nervous to try this, because as a pianist of 11 years it would be sooo embarrassing if I didn’t get it right. But I did!! 🎉🎉

I was surprised. Not only did I manage a full octave with my left-hand (I'm left-handed) but I also succeeded with my right!

I'm only on it because I've been doing a lot of improv and so my fingers will have to randomly just BOOM do an octave! Happy to be on point for this. What a confidence boost!

I’m a beginner, I’m trying to learn octaves but I’m struggling to move from one octave to another. I’m supposed to relax my hand as I move my hand to the next one, but I can’t seem to do that. TwT

< one year experience, I slightly hit the 7th but wain the middle of each octave key... I was shocked, was practicing a lot of octave work about 3 weeks ago... it never ceases to amaze me how muscle memory works

I’ve been a pianist for over 50 years and I still struggle with octaves in the right hand only (I touch the 7th) 😆

I did nail it! Not because I'm good / experienced (I'm not, only been playing piano for 4 weeks), but because I already tried a 9th and a 10th and I remembered how comfortable I was with them (respectively "meh" and "yeah nah"). :D
