Fun fact. I learnt yesterday that the story of Xenogears was originally meant to be the story for FFVII but the executives decided it was too dark for a FF title.

Haha with Elly she was OP when she first got released with her massive MAG stats and dmg numbers, sure she was locked to wind for a bit but her little update fixed her up. The actual Xenogears game was hella fun with some interesting plot points and Grafs monologues were on point XD All the fun. A smidge disappointed with the gears units being locked to their individual element with no synergy but if they decide to put Elly at NV and in her own gear that’s potential for chainer since she’s supposed to be element flexible. Lovely videos like always :)

Cool trivia: Xenogears was supposed to by Final Fantasy 7, by it was 'too dark' for FF franchise and relegated to be separate game.

You should really, and I mean REALLY give Xenogears a chance and play it, the story is superb...graphically it has aged a lot, but it's an all times must play.

The OST you've picked for your video is called Flight... If I remember correctly it was first played in the battle of Shevat, where Maria and Chu-chu fought against a boss

Elly was strong on her release as she is the first Mage that can penta cast similar skills(unlike regina who can only pentacast 1 skill at a time). The problem before was... she is the only one with penta cast. so you need a dupe to actually chain properly else your chain breaks. pretty much the same problem with Christine when she was released. She would be a good partner with Ygni or NV tiana but you need to awaken her skills to change it to CWA frames. Her modifiers are so low compared to other mages now I don't know why Gumi skipped her upgrades. =/

There is a side quest in xenogears related to emeralda. If you bring her through a secret dungeon in the game, she will become an adult and her sprite and animations will permanently change for the rest of the game. I always thought it was such a cool idea for a side quest, because it can go completely missed…it expands the lore of the game/character, and you’re rewarded with something better than just an item or a piece of gear

The freebie was my first, got one with wasted lapis, but i think i saw super trust moogles as log ins. Question is, do i omniprism the single pulled unit for trust master to ex with todays free shards and risk never getting another and wasting the free super trust and possible 50 shards from the one pulled guy with omniprism, or just wait and ex him when i get the free super trust moogles?

I ended up upgrading Fei to ex3 while trying to get Id (I keep getting light and earth damage dealers for some reason tho) I got like 3 extra Fei that I literally don’t know what to do with.
