Interesting to see how music tech is diversifying. There is an 'all-in-one' portable path (OP-Z, Gadget) and an 'accumulation of devices' path (synths, sequencers and controllers - like here). Both have their strengths and limitations.

So... does the MkIII send out the full range of 127 possible velocity values, or does it also have huge gaps in its velocity range like its predecessor the MkII had? Sonicstate – please put this to the test using hard science! (easiest and quickest option would be to use the freely available Velocity Checker Max4Live device)

Ordered this today. I couldn't choose between NI and Arturia and then suddenly this appears. As an Ableton-head, knowing they were involved feels reassuring. The light guide and sequencer don't hurt either.

How is the keybed? Fatar? Anything premium? Or went all the money in the sequencer i don't need. Every video is talking about the features but not the most important aspect of a keyboard.
