Well, you can also cut the 4 "Botanical Sanctum" for 4 "Yavimaya Coast".
Yes, you take damage to have colored mana, but you will sacrifice them anyway for the Lotus Field, so maybe 2 to 5 damage per game.
Against agro matchups, 5 dmg is alot but not always will impact it that greatly.
But with this change you can almost make the deck under the $100 range.

I have primarily played commander since I sold my modern UW emeria titan deck years a go. I am using pauper to dip my toes back into 60 card, and was considering a pioneer deck, maybe some sort of BGx Seasons past list, even if it isn't top tier or anything.

What do you think about Tale's End? It is very versatile, you can counter your own lotus field ability, or nice targets in pioneer, like greasefang, adeline, karn, teferi, sheoldred...
