I was trying to bridge using the wireless network adapter, but in GNS3 VM it (eth2-#optional bridge) was not getting any IP address. So the solution is the Lan adapter or USB Lan. Isn't it?

I am mac user, running my GNS3-vm on the virtualboox and stuck to get it ready it says its not configured, tried a-lot to fix my network connection but failed is there any clue plz???

Great video but I am trying to do the same thing with GNS3VM connected to an external switch using trunking mode. I was able to do it before when the server was running on my Ubuntu because I was able to install the Ethernet dongle drivers. Today with the GNS3VM version 2.1.11, I am not able to install any drivers anymore . So this kind of setup is working only for access port and does not support trunking. Do you have a solution to trunk external devices ?

Awesome Video for Scaling GNS3. According to shown Video made same changes it's working fine


But when i am using Local GNS3 with remote servers not unable to communicate local switch -- remote switch, but remoter to another remote working perfectly.


kindly let me know what changes i need to make communication between remote and local switch... even i am not able to see cdp neighbor when directly connected each other

With Hyper-V it doesnt work. This whole GNS3 is a mess.
