Another quick shortcut for track creation in Logic is Command-Option-A for audio tracks, Command-Option-S for software/virtual instrument tracks. Only time I use the other option is to create multiple tracks at once. I woulda stayed with Pro Tools but I can’t update past PT12 without giving up my perpetual license. Negative! I miss being able to automate clip gain with visual representation though.

Thanks for doing a Logic Pro x video WAV ... Waiting on a Logic Pro video for mixing vocals over a instrumental beat. You know how most rappers just buy a instrumental off beatstars or airbit and rap over it. And a how to master a mastered instrumental with a vocal track over it cause that’s what most of us are buying and rapping over. Right on! I haven’t been mastering my songs cause the beat is already mastered so I just put vocals over it, then I mix it and put it out! 🤷🏾‍♂️ So far I’ve been staying away from compression and limiters cause I heard they introduce noise or ruin the dynamics of my vocals.
