In these days, the boys would handle my G men lol. Looking back, hey, the boys, those teams, they played grrreat football. ‘92 was my favorite looking back. They played, expecting to win. Confidence, just enough arrogance and they knew how to close out games, especially the big games.

The observation that the pre-Johnson Cowboys were not bothered by losing reminds me of the Dave Campo team that was playing the Giants in primetime, having a bad season but somehow had control of NY for three quarters, 10-0 or 13-3. And yet I fully expected that if Dallas didn't put the game away they would blow it. And they did late, a loss that seemed so inevitable. After the game on SNF or MNF, I saw Cowboys mugging and joking with the NY players, not the least bit bothered about pissing away another game amidst three straight 5-11 seasons. A few years later, the Boys would similarly blow a 13-0 lead over the Skins on MNF, a game they coasted with over 3 quarters, then Santana Moss caught two bombs, Washington 14-13. Infuriating, but at least that Parcells team had two playoff trips and some toughness.
