Apologetics for Christians Webinar Conference on Friday December 1 and Saturday December 2. There will be 4 sessions on how to defend the faith and how to share the faith. Each session will be about 45 minutes to an hour teaching, and there will be 30 minutes for questions and answers where you can ask in the live chat or join the speakers directly. The speakers will be Kelly Powers from Berean Perspective Apologetics and Derrick A. Crump NowApologetics who will be teaching on the importance of Apologetics for Christians examining 3 important warnings from 2 Corinthians 11:4 on another Jesus, another gospel, and another spirit. Speakers:

Kelly Powers. I am 52 years old, from Redondo Beach California, and became a born again follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 6 in 1977. I grew up in Las Vegas started getting involved in serving and ministry in the early 90’s in the areas of evangelism, outreach, missions, home groups, and apologetics. I met my wonderful wife in 1999 & we got married in 2000, and have been married for over 23 years.

For over 30 years I have served the Lord in various churches and ministries. My desire is also to help equip Christians to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. My church experience ranges from ministering to children, youth, young adults, and adults as youth and young adults leader, lay pastor, elder, assistant pastor, children teacher, outreach and evangelism leader, discipleship and mentor coordinator, preaching and teaching at churches. Types of churches I have been involved with serving are Southern Baptist Conference, Calvary Chapel, Non-Denominational, Christian Missionary Alliance, EMMC, and some others. Have a Bachelors degree in Apologetics & Evangelism from Trinity Bible College and Theological Seminary, Evans Indiana.

Started the Berean Perspective ministry on YouTube in 2018 focusing on Christian Apologetics, Discipleship & Evangelism teaching sound biblical doctrines, and helping people come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This ministry has been reaching thousands of Christians all around the world equipping, encouraging, mentoring, and discipleship classes. Along with that there have been many who have contacted me who have come out of Cults and false teachings, and have come to trust in Jesus Christ personally believing the gospel leading them to salvation.

Derrick A. Crump in his early teens to young adult years, church became a regular part of his life. It was in church where Derrick met the love of his life - Danielle. Derrick and Danielle have been married for 29 years and together they have two adult children. Entering his 30’s, Derrick felt a call of God to ministry, specifically in the areas of evangelism and teaching.

In 2007, Derrick began teaching the Foundations In Christianity class at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Georgia, which he continues to teach today. In 2013, Derrick became a licensed and ordained Minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2021, Derrick received an undergrad in Theology from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary, and a masters degree in Apologetics and Evangelism in year 2023.

As a Christian education instructor, Derrick often sees a disconnect in the body of Christ amongst those that believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, and their ability to express why they believe it. Derrick’s call today is: TO EQUIP AND TEACH THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST TO DEFEND THE TRUTH CLAIMS OF CHRISTIANITY. As I have said before. Mr Powers, like the rest of us, is giving you his personal understanding of Philippians 2:5-8 and not indisputable “facts”. Many translations don't use the word “existed” [I.e.] past tense, they use the word “existing” or “being” [i.e.] present tense. Within this context, they read, “who existing/being in the form of God” in which the man Christ Jesus is the antecedent. In this context, Paul would be telling his subjects how the man Christ Jesus exists in the “form” of God and not how a pre-existent son “existed” in the “form” of God. Therefore, as somebody who adheres to the Unitarian faith, I would be looking to understand how Christ “exists” [I.e.] present tense, in the “form” of God. And not how a pre-existent son “existed” [I.e.] past tense, in the form of God. So, right off the bat, my understanding surrounding the context of any further verses would naturally take on a completely different understanding to that of Mr Power's.

Anyone who has ears let them hear and choose wisely. A person who adheres to the Trinitarian faith “cannot” have the same God that Christ has. Christ’s God is the Father “alone”. The truth here is simple, Jesus does not have, or did he ascend to a God who consists of a three-person being.

the lamb of God ascended to the throne as depicted in Rev 5. He took the scroll from the one on the throne who was not God, but a lowly angel who John says looked like red stone in color. This one could not open the scrolls, , , he could NOT OPEN them.
John later sees an angel and says the whole world was lighted with his glory, yet the one on the throne, who he does not say is God, goes without any accolades. The only deity in the revelation is Jesus, the alpha and omega. A title God speaks of himself in the prophets. This eternal son doctrine is a sham. There is no substance to it, One thing is for sure, the only saints who will ever recognize the true nature of the person of Jesus are the spirit filled saints who are crying in the wilderness, , , not in churchianity, , , repent of your false teachings and deception through the infilling of the spirit of Christ, which leads into all truth. btw, I have nothing to do with the groups you listed, Nor do I have any church affiliation.
