What is there to debate? He's been undoubtedly world class for the past 3 years. Everyone knows it, even if some doesn't acknowledge it.

By all metrics Son is world class. Consistency? He has been involved in 40% of his teams goals in the last 5 seasons. - Ability? He is the most clinical striker the world has ever seen. His outperforms his xG massively. Not even Messi can touch him on that. He has done that consistently. Big game player? He consistently scores worldies against city and Liverpool - Personal achievements? He won the puskas and golden boot without pens. - Professionalism? he is a managers dream. Works hard. No ego. Respects his club and fans. - Leadership? He carries the weight of South Korea national team on his shoulders and leads by example every minute of every match. - the only trait missing? He is not white or black. He is Asian.

If I could have one player from another Prem team, it would be Son. Consistent, runs all day, ridiculous goal and assist record, doesn't miss many games, positive influence in the team, never moans and whines. Great player. Disgusting he's not in the team of the year.

Still arguing? There is only one answer. The European media or some European experts who are biased and discriminated against simply do not want to say that Asian players are world class. Needless to say, this South Korean star is world class. Son Heung-min has been playing in the PL for 7 years and has scored more than 20 goals in almost most seasons..Son is Golden Boot winner.. Look at Son's goals in this couple of seasons and how brilliant he's been. the goal Son won Puskas award against Burnley, and bunch of other unbelievable goals, and he finally got the PL golden boots without Penalties!! Yes Son is world class

I still don't get the Son haters who say he isn't world class because he hasn't won a trophy or he doesn't play for a big team. These keyboard warriors who haven't played the game professionally a single day and think their points are valid are a big joke. Son will walk into any big team out there as a starter. He hardly gets injured (even while playing every single game each year for club and country), his stats have been consistent every year and has been on a upwards trajectory ever since his pro debut. Has the best shot to goal ratio in the world. Uses both feet, shoots from anywhere to score, deadly in 1 on 1 chances, also gives a lot of assists. Carries the team on his own with Kane (and by himself when Kane's not there or having an off game). Always runs generously for the whole 90mins for the team, has one of the best off the ball presence so that his team can have the best option available to score. Never moans ans whines but gives his best every game for the team.
He is an absolute baller.
Also if current pros, ex-pros, pundits who played at the highest level and the best managers in the game say his world class... then I'd say he has every right to be labelled as a world class player. Those fools who just play fifa at home don't have any say in this matter. This also includes the guys who kept him out of the nomination for best player of the season. What the PFA did is an absolute joke.

I did some research to workout what makes a player "World-Class". The only common trait I could find was that every "World-Class player I was looking at had at least a 5 year period of consistent Elite-Level form. If the player is a Centre-Forward then you're looking for a goal ratio near 1 in 2. If you're a Wide-Forward or 2nd Striker it's a 1 in 3 goal ratio. For me if you have a international golden boot or Ballon d'or that's good enough too. Son is World-Class.

Mans talking about Son being underrated and then can’t admit he’s world class??? Son unfortunately gets the two main biases against him. For context I think Salah, Kane, and Son are all word class, but salah gets world class because of his team, Kane gets world class because of his nationality. Son unfortunately plays for a team that never wins anything and for a country that gets overlooked in world football.
