The smile on your face when he plays it with drums that first time is perfect.

This was awesome. Tim's such an incredible guitarist it's kind of intimidating. I felt a little better when he said it took him a bit to get Phil's riff under his fingers because every guitarist has their own DNA.

Tim is correct about the DNA of players. This is why some people can learn some techniques easily while others struggle with the same lick. It isn't necessarily that one sucks, it's just they have different muscle memory and musical experiences.

Two youtubers I love to watch. Watching them both bob their heads to the riff with drums felt so wholesome lol.

I was glad to hear Tim say to “keep it simple” in songwriting. As a musician I always want to complicate an arrangement but of all my songs it’s the “simple” ones that people respond to the most. Great interview!

I’ve always loved the intro riff. With him doing that it takes it to another level.

I always wondered about the timing on that riff Phil, I finally understand! LOL
I love seeing your eyes lit up and big smile as he introduces more parts.
This is good stuff!!!

Great stuff ... love that bit in the video in the drum add and the bass and high guitar part when watching Phil listening to each part the 1st time and he 'gets it' and the smile widens and the head nods with more energy 🙂

As for the drum beat advice at the begining, there is the channel named Now you Shred. It's absolutly amazing all the work he put in nice and fun backing tracks
