Aren’t you glad Dom is batting for the cubase team. It’s like having a prize striker on your soccer team.

Love it! The "Tracks to Groups, " "Tracks to EFX, " "New Instrument Track, " and "New Audio Track" key commands are genius and will give me more free time to come up with more music instead of clicking menus all day. Cheers!

Thank you! I'm new to Cubase, but not computers. Keyboard shortcuts are awesome for efficiency. Thank you for sharing great ones for Cubase to get me started fast.
Minor Note: On my computer, Cubase Pro 11 is using Shift+G/H for zooming vertically, and Alt+G/H for zooming waveforms (the opposite of what you said - not sure if this is new or not, because I'm to Cubase). Stopped me for minute, but it only took a moment to look this up. Knowing about the shortcut was the key, and I got that from you.
Thank you!

Very good stuff, thank you! For Snap on/off - [J] I work faster just keeping the CTRL key pressed, it bypasses the snap. Thanks Steinberg, great time saver :)

some handy shortcuts there Dom - some I didn't know! Curious to hear about any other macro's you've got in Cubase or general music production :-)

Have learnt a lot from your videos. I have two questions: 1) How can I hide/remove grid lines? 2) How can I make play cursor single line?

3:22 You did here absolutely something else. Lol 😂
It's by default - Shift+H/Shift+G - Zoom Vertically In / Out ✅ not Alt ❌
zoom in on the waveform Alt + G/H ✅ not shift ❌
You have shown the complete opposite 😂 Thanks for showing up anyway ❤

The reset quantize shortcut/idea is pretty clever ;)
What I did for my quantize resolution = ctrl + 1-4: previous, next, toggle triplet, and quantize settings respectively. For what it's worth I also have toggle dotted quantize on shift + 3, but that's rare for me to use. I find it pretty logical placement considering that the quantize shortcut is Q.
The game changers for me were Edit Instrument (numpad 7), Edit Channel Settings(numpad 8), Key Editor(numpad 4), Drum Editor(numpad 5)... it just feels good.

Awesome video man thanks. Is it possible to assign a shortcut to a specific insert? Say for example second or third insert of the selected channel. Thanks.
