I think tang Tangsanzhang chanting is not the real tangsanzhang, the real tangsanzhang doesnt chant during the journey and prove that wukong changed and has become better. Or there is a scene where a demon disguise as Tangsanzhang and in order to know which one is the real one wukong ask them to do the chanting. but anyway wukong respect Tangsanzhang as his master because Tangsanzhang never abuse his power like the celestial court and treat him like disciple.

Thanks for posting the original Chinese dub. It seems most people upload english version but this I prefer. I've been searching for this all over Youtube so I can watch it without having to go on my ps5 just to watch it

Even though I just watch people play the game, when I see the memories of Sun Wukong it makes me feel so much emotion even though I'm not from China or grew up with Journey of the West. When is this scene I see the glorious life of Sun Wukong, the Great sage equal to Heaven

The entire story in reverse order, suggesting his brave and unrestrained return, he self-destructs the six relics just to get rid of the control of the Buddha system and lift the confinement, though Sun Wukong can't resurrection
there is always a man of destiny can understand him and collected all six relics, and became the great sage again

The true ending, felt to me like, he went to his death willingly, with the death of practically all of his treasured comrades, there was nothing left but to join them, although his essence, someone like him will always exist. Maybe it's just an outsider perspective.

Bottoms up, brothers!’ doesn’t fully capture the meaning in English, as it lacks the nuance of family seniority. In Chinese culture, we are taught to respect our elders. In this scene, Wukong addresses the Yaoguai as 'Ge Ge Men' (meaning elder brothers), saying, ‘Elder brothers, let’s drink and fight our way to the Celestial Court!’

Wukong is trying to change the Yaoguai’s fate. It’s heartbreaking that all his elder brothers are gone, and now he must face the Celestial forces alone.

The white-haired woman is implied to be Baigujin and has some affair with Wukong. The "false Wukong" body that might implicate Wukong has a close relationship with him.
