CDT Vlog: 70% Update

We’ve completed 70% of the Continental Divide Trail! In the last 300 miles, we left Wyoming's Wind River Mountain Range and entered Yellowstone National Park. We had some rain and bad weather. We saw grizzly bears and geysers! #Shorts

Just for anyone watching, I'm sure they have the knowledge to do it relatively safely, but do NOT get into streams in Yellowstone that haven't been marked as okay to be in. It's all geothermal so what looks just warm could be scalding, and what was warm could be scalding extremely quickly if something changes. People have died because of being immersed in the water at Yellowstone. Always be careful around geothermal springs and the like. The ones marked as safe have typically been watched and constantly measured for a while to ensure that they don't get too hot. That doesn't mean they're 100% safe, only that they are much safer than ones not marked.

My favorite part of this couple is their balance between necessities and indulgences. Freeze dried meals with Oreos or Fritos really helps the layman relate.
