She's so relaxed and makes it easy to understand.

Remember kids you only have to do this properly once with the driver instructor then you can drive normal

When they say 'three white lines', this includes the target line you intend to park behind. In other words, 2 lines ahead of your target line.

This is the best way to do it. I did it this way 2nd time round without help. Its best to practise this at the end near your test as everything else becomes second nature. I've got the Warwick test route with a small car park that can also be quite busy. That's why this way of doing the manoeuvre is important. Thank you for not showing it the other way. It wastes time and isn't any safer.

I was taught that and it worked well for the test. I just passed in August and I can say that's not useful in real life, there will be a car behind you and if you move forward they most likely will aswell and if you signal and go that much forward to reverse you risking collision as they most likely will miss interpret what you doing. I can never understand why tests are there to make your life missreable and not to help you actually be skilful and ready.

I have been a fan of your videos and as an ADI have used them for my own CPD but I do believe teaching to drive, how I drive and whole heartily disagree with this idea od teaching a bay park as I am sure the instructor does not park their carusing the 3rd line.

I teach my drivers to use the tear passenger window to find the reference line of the bay they wish to park in and use a level of judgment as to when to turn, then if they are wide I show them how to adjust the reference.

Always use the bay you want to park in. What happens if a driver parks into the bay as you are reversing back?

Last time I did this …a dumbass pulled and stops at my bumper as I’m trying to reverse into a parking spot, and honks at me …wouldn’t move and kindly asked her to move but she said “ kids your age can’t respect your elders “ so I floored it and parked where she continued to barraide me …made me wonder how tf she got her license
