There are some exceptions. If you're a US citizen living in Canada (go ahead, guess how I know), you can't benefit from a TFSA because US/Canada tax treaties don't cover TFSAs, meaning that you still owe US income taxes on your TFSA even though it's tax free in Canada.

Good advices so far but I would not recommend rookies to be too confident with investing in Bitcoin

Investors should consider storing crypto either with a trusted custodian or in a cold wallet

Thanks for those great informations. The knowledge shared on the videos might save us quite some money. As a Canadian citizen my TFSA slowly growing is set but my question ..When i tranfer my profit accumulated from a high interest account to my TFSA can i cash out without fees because of a withdrawal? If yes any suggestions?

My father always told me you should max your RRSP every year, then use your return to max out your TFSA.

I enjoyed the video, I’m in Canada wanted to know if there is a Canadian version of Custodial Roth IRA that I can use these investment strategies. I already have an RESP but looking for other ways for my child to invest her money. Thanks

At the moment at least, buying bitcoin over the past couple years has been the best decision I've ever made.
