There are some exceptions. If you're a US citizen living in Canada (go ahead, guess how I know), you can't benefit from a TFSA because US/Canada tax treaties don't cover TFSAs, meaning that you still owe US income taxes on your TFSA even though it's tax free in Canada.

As a Canadian citizen my TFSA slowly growing is set but my question ..When i tranfer my profit accumulated from a high interest account to my TFSA can i cash out without fees because of a withdrawal? If yes any suggestions?

My father always told me you should max your RRSP every year, then use your return to max out your TFSA.

At the moment at least, buying bitcoin over the past couple years has been the best decision I've ever made.
