I would like to hear more of this topic. Working with basic motifs is a great tip, because reoccurring elements can glue everything together. For me it's special interesting to get tips for effective and strategic songwriting, because it seems today you have to write for Spotify, for specific playlists or other marketing-targets.

All excellent points; it's hard to decide which is the most prominent issue with guitarists, but I'd say the intro/outro and bad solo points are tied.
