Honda reveals 2018 CBR 250R with BSIV engine & LED headlamp

Honda doesn't seem to be bothered much about the premium motorcycle segment. At the Auto Expo 2018, again, stealing the thunder was the Activa 5G. That's all that matters for Honda here in India just to win the sales race against Hero MotoCorp. At the ongoing 2018 Indian Auto Expo, Honda revealed that they will bring back the old CBR250R for the Indian market, with a few cosmetic changes.

So if you've been dreaming about a CBR300R or a CBR250RR, dream on.

The new 2018 Honda CBR250R now benefits from a BSIV compliant motor. This was the reason why it was discontinued last year. Apart from this, Honda will now offer a full LED headlamp on the CBR250R, which honestly, looks fantastic. But still, no LED tail lamp. New colour additions will include Mars Orange & Striking Green along with the standard Pearl Sports Yellow, Sports Red and Vibrant Orange (Repsol).

The CBR250R will continue to be offered with dual-channel ABS with combi-brakes.
Powering the 2108 Honda CBR250R is the same 249.6cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke petrol motor producing 26.5 PS of power @ 8500 RPM and 22.9 Nm of torque @ 7000 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox. No slipper clutch.

With the addition of LED headlamps, we're expecting the prices to be bumped up compared to the old model. However, it would be nice if Honda actually keeps the prices the same, or marginally lower considering this new motorcycle, isn't all that new in a segment which is watching new entries lately.

Everybody is like...new cbr new cbr....why honda only updates graphics...
I am like give me this same cbr only with led tail lamp and led indicator... don't even change the instrument cluster....this thing is dope man
