A second orphaned sea otter has been rescued in B.C. in less than a month, marking the first time the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Society has had to take care of two fragile pups at the same time. Rescuers say the latest patient, Luna, was found July 13 on Vargas Island, near Tofino, B.C., with remnants of her umbilical cord still attached, making her only days old and likely the youngest otter they have cared for.
