In 2008 I quit smoking. It took me a year to quit. Starting October 2007 every single day after work I would stand in front of my mirror WITH a lit cigarette and say “ I am not a smoker” I am not a smoker” “ I don’t smoke”. One day I went to light a Newport and couldn’t do it...because “ I wasn’t a smoker”. Haven’t had a cigarette in 11 years!!
NOW that I know that can work for “ I am I need to work on that!! I love to write and sew. I also enjoy lifting weights, but I think all of those activities are for people who are those things. I’m going to start saying “I am a writer” and “I am a weight lifting”everyday and see what happens.

As an avid reader of Dr. Maltz's book "Psycho-cybernetics", Mr. Lok's phrase at 2:15 *"You see you in your mind"* just gives me GOOSEBUMPS.
